His Little Hands.
Ok, so I am going to wax a little sentimental here, but I just have to.
I was holding Jareds little hand today as he was leading me somewhere, and I just thought about how warm, and soft his little hand was, but in contrast how strong and firm he held my hand. He is my little man, but someday I will probably be feeling very fortunate if he holds my hand. When he is a teen, he may not even want to touch my hand, as an adult he may be too busy, or have his wife's hand to hold. So I am going to enjoy every minute I can to hold these warm, soft, little, most of the time dirty, hands. And hopefully as the years go by we will have these momets to treasure, and hopefully he will always remember that I love him.
Cardboard Boxes Make The Best Toys!
Kids just love a good cardboard box! Kate has moved in, and I am wondering if she is preparing to become a hobo some day. Well, you can only go up from there. :) She had so much fun with this box for a couple of days, and it reminded me of a favorite book my mom used to read to me when I was a little girl. You 'gotta love those cardboard boxes!
The First Snow 2008
T
Kate was so excited for the first snow!
She woke up very early and started yelling "Snow, there is snow on the ground everyone!" She immediately got herself dressed in her snow clothes, scarf and all. Jared really wanted to join her so he quickly threw on the first pair of shoes he could find. Unfortunatley they were Kates sandals, so he had to just watch for a moment until we found his snow boots. There is nothing like the first snow!
